KDX Gear Lever

The standard (original Kawasaki part) steel on the KDX bends easily and should be replaced with the 1992 model KX125 aluminum lever (Part Number: 13156-1240). Do not use after market aluminum gear levers because the splines strip after a few rides. It is also a good idea to use a thread locker on the bolt because of the vibration on the gear lever can cause the bolt to work lose and the rattling will strip the thread.
