Directions

From JHB / Centurion take the N1 North, take the N4 Witbank off-ramp (the one just after Lynwood) and continue east to Witbank, follow the N4 highway and take the Donkerhoek off-ramp (small toll gate, R9,00), turn left and follow the road for about 300 meters at the T-junction turn right onto the old Bronkhorst-Spruit Road follow this road for about 900m then turn left onto a dirt road. Entrance should be directly on your right.

Facilities

There is a garage nearby but its only open until 14h00 and sometimes runs out of petrol so remeber to fill your bikes beforehand. The bar recently closed but there is a small liquor store walking distance from the parking area, shaded parking for the bakkies & cars. There is also a washing bay for your bike.

There is a bikeshop right next to the track.

Track

The track has a combination of small jumps, sandy turns and a small rocky technical section. Very good workout if you do a couple of laps.

Outride

The outride is not an official outride but there are some nice climbs up the small koppie and the magalies mountain. The only downside to the outride is that its next to Mamelodi township, the locals are not too keen on the noise much like De Wildt. There is also an old dumpsite with nice steep sandy climbs.

Other

The track fee is R50 per bike per day, you can park your vehicle there and do the outride but rather do a few laps on the track and then attempt the outride.
